According to a Huffington Post special report on being young, queer and homeless in Hollywood, The Los Angeles LGBT Youth Center is a haven for LGBTQ youth who make up a disproportionate number of the young people who experience homelessness in Los Angeles. The Center services help homeless youth confront challenges similar to those many other people face in the streets.
