    West Hollywood Station – Part 1 Crime Report: October 16 – 22, 2023

    West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station posted the most recent Part 1 Crime Report for October 16 – 22, on the Nixle platform.

    Vehicle burglary tops the crimes for that time period. The report also reveals that four suspects were arrested on October 20, in relation to the incident involving two injured Peace Officers on the 900 block of Hilldale Avenue. During a vehicle pursuit of a burglary suspect, the suspect vehicle reached a dead-end and could not continue. The vehicle turned around and then drove towards deputy personnel at a high rate of speed, purposely colliding into a patrol vehicle to ensure their escape.

    10/17/2023 @ 2100-2300. An unknown suspect smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a bag containing a cell phone and blank checks from the back seat. #05893

    October 18th
    Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon
    8400 block Sunset Blvd
    10/18/2023 @ 2230. A man was walking WB on Sunset Blvd when the suspect approached and began yelling at him for unknown reasons. The suspect swung his skateboard and hit the victim several times on his head. The suspect ran from the area EB on Sunset Blvd. #05908

    900 block Larrabee Street
    10/18/2023 @ 1600-0800. An unknown suspect removed an unsecured electric bicycle from the sub parking garage of the apartment complex. #05917

    Other Burglary
    1100 block Flores Street
    10/18/2023 @ 1700-0915. An unknown suspect removed a wooden board that was covering a small hole in the side of the building. The suspect climbed through the opening to gain access and removed miscellaneous bottles of alcohol. #05912

    Vehicle Burglary
    900 block Larrabee Street
    10/18/2023 @ 1900-0800. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed an electric bike from the trunk. #05909

    8300 block Romaine Street
    10/18/2023 @ 2015-0755. An unknown suspect smashed the front driver’s side window and removed two sets of Air Pods from the interior. #05910

    900 block Larrabee Street
    10/18/2023 @ 1815-1330. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed a garage clicker from the center console. #05915

    900 block N Palm Avenue
    10/18/2023 @ 1830-1400. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and removed one pair of sunglasses and a garage clicker from the center console. #05933

    Aggravated Assault – Peace Officer (2 victims)
    900 block Hilldale Avenue
    10/19/2023 @ 1644. During a vehicle pursuit of a burglary suspect, the suspect vehicle reached a dead-end and could not continue. The vehicle turned around and then drove towards deputy personnel at a high rate of speed, purposely colliding into a patrol vehicle to ensure their escape. Four suspects were arrested on 10/20/2023 by LASD MCB. #05924

    10/19/2023 – 10/22/2023. An unknown suspect smashed the sliding glass door to gain entry but was unsuccessful. The glass door film held the window together and prevented entry. #05977

    10/19/2023 @ 1637. A man smashed the rear driver’s side window and removed a backpack containing two laptop computers from the back seat. #05925

    8900 block Rangely Avenue
    06/01/2023 – 10/20/2023. An unknown suspect removed a Ruger handgun, Marlin rifle and Smith & Wesson shotgun from underneath the victim’s bed. Construction workers, caretakers, and exterminators had unsupervised access to the residence over multiple weeks. #05945

    10/20/2023 @ 0250. An unknown suspect pried the patio door open to gain access and removed a safe from the manager’s office. #05932

    October 21st
    Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon
    8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
    10/21/2023 @ 1615. A man walked into the dining area and tried to sell candy bars to customers as they were eating their meals. Employees asked the suspect to leave and escorted him from the business. After getting outside, the suspect punched two store employees several times in the face. The suspect also threw a rock that struck the victim on his forehead. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05958
