West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station posted the most recent Part 1 Crime Report for October 16 – 22, on the Nixle platform.
Vehicle burglary tops the crimes for that time period. The report also reveals that four suspects were arrested on October 20, in relation to the incident involving two injured Peace Officers on the 900 block of Hilldale Avenue. During a vehicle pursuit of a burglary suspect, the suspect vehicle reached a dead-end and could not continue. The vehicle turned around and then drove towards deputy personnel at a high rate of speed, purposely colliding into a patrol vehicle to ensure their escape.

10/18/2023 @ 2230. A man was walking WB on Sunset Blvd when the suspect approached and began yelling at him for unknown reasons. The suspect swung his skateboard and hit the victim several times on his head. The suspect ran from the area EB on Sunset Blvd. #05908

10/18/2023 @ 1600-0800. An unknown suspect removed an unsecured electric bicycle from the sub parking garage of the apartment complex. #05917

10/19/2023 @ 1644. During a vehicle pursuit of a burglary suspect, the suspect vehicle reached a dead-end and could not continue. The vehicle turned around and then drove towards deputy personnel at a high rate of speed, purposely colliding into a patrol vehicle to ensure their escape. Four suspects were arrested on 10/20/2023 by LASD MCB. #05924

06/01/2023 – 10/20/2023. An unknown suspect removed a Ruger handgun, Marlin rifle and Smith & Wesson shotgun from underneath the victim’s bed. Construction workers, caretakers, and exterminators had unsupervised access to the residence over multiple weeks. #05945

October 21st
Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon
8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
10/21/2023 @ 1615. A man walked into the dining area and tried to sell candy bars to customers as they were eating their meals. Employees asked the suspect to leave and escorted him from the business. After getting outside, the suspect punched two store employees several times in the face. The suspect also threw a rock that struck the victim on his forehead. The suspect was arrested by responding deputies. #05958
