A Los Angeles County West Hollywood Sheriff’s Deputy was hit by car during a pursuit in the 900 Block of Hilldale Avenue and Cynthia Street. The incident happened during a burglary pursuit in the city’s westside area. Helicopters and sheriff’s vehicles were in search of two suspects who have not been found as of the posting of this piece. The incident occurred around 6:30 p.m.
Paramedics drove the injured deputy to a nearby hospital and is reported to be in stable condition.

According to the sheriff’s department, the suspect’s vehicle was a black Dodge Charger.

Major Crimes Bureau Requests Public’s Assistance to Locate Suspect Vehicle #WestHollywood
On Thursday October 19, 2023, at approximately 4:33 P.M., deputies attempted to stop the above pictured suspect vehicle near Hilldale Avenue and Cynthia Street in the city of West Hollywood. However, the vehicle tried to evade the responding deputies.
As the suspect vehicle drove past the deputies, the vehicle hit the open passenger door of a patrol vehicle, striking the deputy with the door, causing serious injury to the deputy. The suspect vehicle then drove away at a high rate of speed and out of view.
The vehicle is described as a 2022 dark grey Dode Challenger, with Nevada license plate #802-W31. The vehicle is missing its front license plate.
