West Hollywood DisAbilities Advisory Board Member Patrick Ryan was Victim of Hit and Run in WeHo

WeHo resident, and member of the West Hollywood DisAbilities Advisory Board, Patrick Ryan, was victim of a hit and run incident that happened on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Larrabee Street in the early hours of Monday, November 7, 2022, shortly after the bars closed in WeHo’s Rainbow District. He is reaching out to anyone who witnessed the incident and may have captured photos or videos of the suspect who allegedly fled the scene.

“On during the wee AM hours on Monday, aka after the bars closed on Sunday night, a presumably drunk driver ran me over,” he tells WEHO TIMES. “My leg is shattered and currently being held together with metal rods, screws, and plates. It is unbearable pain so I’m going to try to keep this brief. The car was a Jeep Wrangler, which first had crashed into a tree outside the former Flaming Saddles. Numerous folks including me went to make sure the driver was okay when the car then reversed and ran me over… then he busted ass out of there. It was a hit and run. I’m hoping to find anyone with video that captured the person’s license plate. I’ve yet to been able to reach Revolver [Video Bar] given my status and being mostly sedated through the pain, so if you have any friends or contacts at Revolver to see if they have any cameras outside on that side, I’d be so so so grateful.”

Mr Ryan added that, “it is unfathomable why anyone drunk drives. Again, I presume they were drunk, given their actions, and I’m just trying to not worry about anything, although I’d love to find the person responsible for this. Im hoping for a little help. I know with the election this is minor news, but for timing, I am hoping for the best.”

An update story post on his social media on his reveals he has a cast that goes up to his groin and he is in excruciating pain.
