The City of West Hollywood will offer special Cityline service on Saturday, October 2, 2021 to provide a free direct connection to Metro B (Red) Line service to and from Downtown Los Angeles for the March For Reproductive Rights rally. Metro B (Red) Line Stop: Pershing Square.
The March for Reproductive Rights will take place on Saturday, October 2, 2021 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. beginning at Pershing Square, located at 532 S. Olive Street, ending at Los Angeles City Hall. The March is in response the recently enacted abortion ban in Texas, which makes abortion illegal after approximately six weeks of pregnancy and allows individuals to sue abortion providers and patients. Cityline special service is free and will operate along its regular Commuter route, primarily on Santa Monica Boulevard, with stops at major intersections:
Morning service will begin at 7 a.m. with shuttles running approximately every 15 minutes through the final shuttle departure at 8:30 a.m. Shuttles will begin at the West Hollywood Library and will make all regular Commuter service stops to Hollywood & Highland.
Afternoon service will begin at 12:40 p.m. with shuttles running approximately every 30 minutes through the final shuttle departure at 4:50 p.m. Shuttles will begin at Hollywood & Highland and will make all regular Commuter service stops to the West Hollywood Library.

The March for Reproductive Rights is organized by Women’s March Action (WMA), which stems from Women’s March Foundation founders of Women’s March Los Angeles. The Women’s March and more than 90 other organizations, including the National Latina Institute for Reproductive Health, Planned Parenthood, and others, are calling on women and feminists nationwide to rise-up on Saturday, October 2, 2021 in defense of reproductive rights and to join marches in every single state ahead of the US Supreme Court reconvening on Monday, October 4, 2021.
