    WeHo Sheriff’s Station Resumes Weekly Part 1 Crime Reporting on Nixle

    The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station has resumed its weekly Part 1 Crime reporting for the city of West Hollywood on the Nixle platform after almost a year. The weekly Part 1 Crime Reports stopped on October of 2022, and started back up again last month for the week of August 7-13 and has continued into September.

    The West Hollywood Station – Part 1 Crime Report for the week of September 18 – 24, 2023, is as follows:

    September 18th
    Aggravated Assault – Knife (Suspect Arrested)
    1100 block N Curson Avenue
    09/18/2023 @ 1838. A man was walking on the sidewalk when the suspect threw a small rock that hit the victim on his arm. The suspect then pulled out a box cutter, lunged at the victim, and threatened to kill him. The suspect fled the area on foot and was arrested two days later after committing a similar crime. #05341

    7700 block Santa Monica Blvd
    09/18/2023 @ 0454. An unknown suspect forced the front door open to gain entry and removed a safe from the interior. #05333

    Vehicle Burglary
    Formosa Avenue / Santa Monica Blvd
    09/18/2023 @ 2000-2215. An unknown suspect smashed the rear windshield and removed a luggage bag containing clothing from the trunk. #05347

    Aggravated Assault – Other Weapon (Suspect Arrested)
    7300 block Santa Monica Blvd
    09/20/2023 @ 1700. A man and a woman were walking across the street when the suspect approached from behind and hit them on their heads with a bamboo stick. The suspect fled the area on foot and was located and arrested later that same day. #05377

    8400 block Sunset Blvd
    09/21/2023 @ 1300-1307. A man removed a digital camera, lens, and flash from a conference room closet inside the hotel. #05391

    September 22nd

    600 block Flores Street
    09/22/2023 @ 2230-0900. An unknown suspect removed two laptop computers from the trunk of the unlocked vehicle. #05416

    8900 block Santa Monica Blvd
    09/22/2023 @ 2330-2345. An unknown suspect removed a cell phone from the victim’s back pocket while inside the club. #05424

    Strong Arm Robbery (Estes)
    7100 block Santa Monica Blvd
    09/22/2023 @ 1230. A man removed alcohol and several cigars from a display area and attempted to leave the store without payment. When confronted by an employee, the suspect picked up glass bottles of alcohol and threw them at the victim. The suspect was allowed to leave the store. #05402

    Vehicle Burglary
    1000 block Genesee Avenue
    09/22/2023 @ 0015-0130. An unknown suspect smashed the rear passenger’s side window and removed a bowling bag from the back seat. The suspect also removed a Louis Vuitton duffel bag containing clothing and a laptop computer from the trunk. #05407

    8600 block Melrose Avenue
    09/23/2023 @ 1400-1500. An unknown suspect removed an iPad from the back seat and a camera from the trunk of the unlocked vehicle. #05420

    Strong Arm Robbery
    8700 block Beverly Blvd
    09/23/2023 @ 1709. A man and a woman were walking on the sidewalk when two men approached them from behind and pulled them to the ground. The suspects demanded the male victims watch and a struggle ensued, during which the victim was choked, and his watch was pulled from his wrist. The suspects then pulled the female victim’s watch from her wrist. The suspects ran to a vehicle that was parked nearby and fled the area. #05423

    7600 block Norton Avenue
    09/24/2023 @ 1700-0730. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and ransacked the interior. The victim was unsure if anything was taken. #05447

    09/24/2023 @ 2300-1000. An unknown suspect smashed the front passenger’s side window and ransacked the interior but did not take anything. #05451
