The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station reported three separate arrests this past week, all made hours apart, late Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning. According to reports on the WeHo Sheriff’s social media platforms, the arrests range from attempted robbery, possession of narcotics and two suspects had loaded handguns during two separate traffic stops for expired registrations in the City of West Hollywood.
A police helicopter hovered over The Sunset Strip Tuesday night at roughly 10:30 p.m, while WeHo Sheriff deputies searched for a suspect who fled after an attempted robbery. “Last night #WeHo Station Summer Team deputies were patrolling Sunset Boulevard,” reads the post. “When they were near the area of 8900 Sunset Blvd they encountered a possible robbery in progress incident. One male immediately ran from the deputies, the deputies chased the suspect and the suspect dropped a loaded gun. One male adult was arrested and one unregistered illegal loaded handgun was recovered after the chase.”

Another arrest was made on Santa Monica Boulevard and Fairfax Avenue hours later on Wednesday morning. “Last night, just after 1am, #WeHo Station patrol deputies were patrolling Santa Monica Boulevard,” reads a WeHo Sheriffs report. “When they were near the intersection of Santa Monica Blvd and Fairfax Ave, they saw a car with expired registration and a broken taillight. Deputies conducted a traffic stop to warn/cite the driver. After the investigation one male adult was arrested for concealing an unregistered loaded handgun in his waistband and for being in possession of cocaine, Xanax and ecstasy pills. We want West Hollywood community members to know, we are being proactive 24/7, stay safe! If You See Something Say Something.”

A third arrest was reported the same Wednesday morning at La Brea Avenue. “Last night #WeHo Station early morning shift deputies were patrolling the city of West Hollywood,” reads the third report. “Right around 3am, they were near the 400 block of La Brea Ave and they saw a vehicle with tinted windows and expired registration tags. The deputies conducted a traffic stop to warn/cite the driver. After their investigation one male adult was arrested for being in possession of a loaded handgun. We want West Hollywood community members to know, we are being proactive 24/7, stay safe! As always, If You See Something Say Something!”
Only 3 arrests? In WeHo? I think that’s light.
The W Hollywood sheriff’s doing their job. That’s news worthy. I guess we didn’t have any crime on Thursday. The real question is, who took the day off the criminals or our men in blue
crime.what crime?
