The City of West Hollywood continues their Halloween tradition and delivers yet another unique and widely attended West Hollywood Halloween Carnival this year. Several thousands of people hit a one-mile stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard’s Historic Route 66, between Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard without major incidents.
Police were vigilant the entire night in the wake of a terror incident in New York City that left at least eight people dead. The Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department monitored the streets by foot and police patrolled the surrounding neighborhoods on horseback, so people were safe during the event.

The first West Hollywood Halloween Carnival launched in 1987. It has grown into a world-famous annual gathering where some of the most creative costumes parade up and down Santa Monica Boulevard in the Boystown area of WeHo, west of La Cienega. The city offers entertainment, live DJs, and delivers a melting pot of culture and self-expression.
The City of West Hollywood crowned Jake DuPree, the web sensation, dancer, fitness instructor, and comedian known for spreading unicorn sparkle, love, and light, as the Queen of Halloween this year.
The WeHo Halloween experience is incomparable and considered to be one of the most unique Halloween gatherings in the world. Don’t believe us? Check out some of our photos.
