A West Hollywood resident, who has asked for anonymity. reported a WeHo crime where he alleges that he was sprayed with some form of air rifle that shot him repeatedly with gravel pellets in the stomach. He says the incident happened on Friday night at 9:20pm, on Laurel Avenue, near the Laugh Factory, south of Sunset Boulevard.
“I was about to get into my car on Laurel Avenue just south of Sunset Blvd, when a white Tesla with heavily dark tinted window was driving down from Sunset Blvd with loud music on and their back passenger window was down on the driver’s side,” he stated via an email. “Suddenly I was hit with a lot of hard gravel that was being projected from some kind of gun device. As it began hitting my front stomach area I turned quickly away as I was afraid my eyes would get hit and I was then hit in my lower back area. It stung really bad, and I have red welts on my skin on my side and stomach area.”
He says he doesn’t believe he was the only victim targeted that night and wants the community to be on alert for a white Tesla with tinted windows and possibly playing loud music.
He also says he filed a report with the West Hollywood Sherriff’s Station and submitted photos of his bruised body.
