Stand with Ukraine Los Angeles is hosting a WeHo Bar Crawl on Sunday, June 19th, from 12pm to 8pm. The event fundraiser will take place in West Hollywood’s LGBT Rainbow District with participating bars and local businesses.
Come to West Hollywood’s nightlife and show your support by purchasing a $25 wristband (at one of the many booths set up along the Santa Monica Blvd). The special wristband grants you access to numerous drink deals, some fun entertainment, prizes, and more.
This event aims to support Ukrainian LGBT soldiers, as highlighted by the Ukrainian LGBT ‘Unicorn’ Battalion. They’re in desperate need for summer uniforms.
Slip on your yellow and blue, and make your rounds to the 12 supporting bars and local businesses, each offering something special in honor of the brave citizens of Ukraine. Sponsors include Trunks, St Felix, State, Rocco’s, Revolver Video Bar, Mother Lode, Micky’s WeHo, HiTops, Heart, Gym Sportsbar & Grill, Beaches, and Bayou.
The emcee for the closing ceremony is Super Model, Talk Show Host, and MTV’s most eligible bachelorette on “Ex’s on the Beach” @ariscestocrat. Finishing the night off, with a breathtaking performance, will be Mika Newton, a Ukrainian award-winning singer who performed with John Legend at the 2022 Grammys.
@StandWithUkraineLA is the organization who will make sure 100% of the proceeds get to where they needs to go.
The organizers hope to make the WeHo Bar Crawl a massive success and show pride through supporting LGBTQ Ukrainians who could not have a Pride of their own this year as they bravely fight, not only for their lives, but for the very right to a free and democratic nation. This fundraiser is a concrete way to help those Ukrainians caught in the crossfire of senseless Russian aggression. The people of Ukraine urgently need specific items to provide for their safety, protection and care. Ukraine has suffered a complete disruption of its supply chain as a result of Russia’s attacks.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine showcased a military patch that featured a unicorn, which purportedly represents LGBT soldiers in its ranks.
