We Know WeHo Podcast Features Tadeh Ghazalian of Dialog Cafe

If you have never been to Dialog Cafe located just off the Sunset Strip at 8766 Holloway, you are going to want to head over immediately after listening to the latest We Know WeHo podcast drop. The conversation with co-owner Tadeh Ghazalian has been in the works for some time, but definitely worth the wait.

Dialog Cafe is a family owned and run business that started out purely serving coffee in 2007 as a computer cafe. This small business has managed to survive a few economic upheavals, including the recent pandemic, and in fact, business has picked up significantly, so they had to increase their staff in order to keep up with the demand.

Tadeh’s personal love of coffee has attributed to a robust third wave coffee program that is savored in each espresso shot that is being pulled by the baristas. Tadeh has participated in many coffee throwdowns himself, and we wouldn’t be surprised to see a local throwdown competition popping up in West Hollywood. They have teamed with a top notch local barista to source and roast their beans, and a special coffee blend has been curated in memory of Tadeh’s late Italian father Raphael.

Over the years, the menu has expanded to include lunch offerings, but breakfast is still the most popular with the breakfast burritos being the fan favorite….and breakfast is served all day!  There are actually two burritos to choose from, and both are equally delicious and are served all day; the Dialog Breakfast Burrito (soft scrambled eggs, kielbasa sausage, cheddar, hash browns, housemade spicy ketchup) and the Brisket Verde Breakfast Burrito (tomatillo salsa, queso fresco, soft scrambled eggs, hash browns, cilantro, onions). And the salsa is on point because it is made fresh several times a day to maintain the proper flavor profile.

Other menu highlights are the chinese chicken salad and bowls, particularly the brisket bowl, the “secret menu” items including a burrito crafted by a loyal Tinder employee, and a not-to-be missed burger for hamburger fans.

Tadeh did a collaboration with neighboring Monarch Athlete Club down the Sunset Strip that includes a healthy bowl and a vegan protein shake as additions to the menu.

Exciting changes are afoot for 2023, Dialog Cafe just received their beer & wine license and Tadeh is bringing in a former sommelier from Republique to help craft the wine program.  And, after 13 years tucked away in West Hollywood, Dialog is expanding with a few new locations in 2023 for Angelinos outside of WeHo.
