Vespa Hit-and-Run Victim Looks to West Hollywood Community for Answers

A victim of a hit-and-run incident in West Hollywood is looking to the community for answers after a vehicle clipped his Vespa scooter, sending him flying into the pavement and causing severe injuries. The incident happened at the intersection of Santa Monica Boulevard and Westmount Drive in West Hollywood on Friday, April 19, at roughly 5 p.m.

Peter Duckler has come forward and identified himself as the victim in the hit-and-run. He tells WEHO TIMES that the article written in WEHO TIMES is the only information he has on the incident. “I don’t recall a thing after a serious concussion, a few broken ribs, and considerable bruises,” he said. “I haven’t been able to get any information or cooperation from the police—radio silence. It’s been frustrating trying to get any sort of answers or even footage that would help identify the vehicle that left the scene.”

Several witnesses reported that a white vehicle drove off after clipping the scooter, causing Mr. Duckler to topple over. He had visible head injuries, and his face was covered in blood after losing his helmet before hitting the ground. He also had several scrapes and cuts on his legs from the fall.

Sorry to say hit-and-run incidents are very common not just in West Hollywood, but all over the country. The only proof of an incident may be a broken side mirror or gash on a passenger door.Hope the Vespa rider can find that driver.
