Versace Fall-Winter 2023 Fashion Show Comes to City of West Hollywood

“For me, Los Angeles is a natural home for us because we share the DNA of energy, power, creativity, and imagination,” said Chief Creative Officer Donatella Versace. “Together at this show we share those values around the globe,”—However, the much talked about Fall-Winter 2023 Fashion Show actually took place in the heart of the City of West Hollywood, atop the parking structure hidden in the back of Pacific Design Center.

The event was scheduled on Friday, but the 100% rain forecast moved the show to Thursday night, and according to reports, it was rushed, chaotic, and about an hour late.

There was also pandemonium on the red carpet with no rope to separate celebrity from photographer, so it was a free-for-all with photogs getting in people’s faces.

Then you had Elton John making a scene while riding on a golf cart and a slew of celebrities who were probably already in town for the Academy Awards set for this Sunday.

We’re talking about big names like Cher, Anne Hathaway, Pamela Anderson, Miley Cyrus, Lily James, Lil Nas X, Channing Tatum, Ariana DeBose, Dua Lipa, Gabrielle Union, Paris Hilton and so much more. Vogue called the event one of the most star-studded of the entire fashion season.

There were also familiar faces on the runway. Veteran supermodel Naomi Campbell joined Kendall Jenner and Gigi Hadid, all boldly painted with cat-eye eyeliner.

Donatella headed to West Hollywood showing for the first time. The last Versace fashion show to grace Los Angeles County was over 20 years ago.

“This collection starts from the understanding and appreciation of the body that we have always had in our heart at Versace, said Donatella in a statement. “We applied the lessons learned in the Atelier to ready-to-wear: the construction, the tailoring, the beauty of fabric. This is a celebration of our craftsmanship and understanding of true luxury.”

The show played live on the @versace Instagram account with drones capturing every angle.

The show is on playback on the official website at:
