Special Enforcement Bureau (SEB) Tactical Bomb Techs reported that all was clear after a suspicious package was reported at the Louis Vuitton retail store, at 8800 Melrose Avenue. The bomb threat impacted the vicinity of N Robertson Boulevard and Melrose Avenue area early Sunday afternoon. Robertson Boulevard was closed off all the way to Santa Monica Boulevard.
According to witnesses, the West Hollywood Sheriff’s did not allowing any vehicles to enter or leave the area. Local businesses on Melrose Avenue and Melrose Avenue were evacuated. Everyone was encouraged to stay away from that area as SEB used bomb defusing robots to assess the contents in the suspicious package.

The area was cleared at 2:23pm.
