Two Vehicle Collision Sends One Car Crashing into Pretty Little Thing Store

Pretty Little Thing is not looking so pretty at the moment… A two-vehicle collision on the corner of Melrose Avenue and Westbourne Avenues spun one car out of control and sent it flying into the Pretty Little Thing fashion store at 8587 Melrose Avenue. The incident occurred around midnight Sunday night/Monday morning. No word yet on injuries.

According to security cam footage, a car was speeding while heading east on Melrose Ave, and a second was speeding heading south on Westbourne Ave. The vehicle heading east hit the second car with so much force, that the car spun and crashed into the retail store, tail first, destroying the entire store front known for their window displays with fantastical unicorns.

The floor-to-ceiling glass front panel was left crumpled on the ground and the main entrance was filled with shattered glass and debris. The front of the building was being boarded up this morning.

A security guard tells WEHO TIMES this isn’t the first time a car came crashing into the store. He said he witnessed a car lose control and come flying into the main showroom and inflicting the sort of damage that is similar to last night’s crash. He said the glass panel can cost upwards of $25,000 to replace. It will also take weeks to replace the glass wall, which will result in the store being closed for a moment. However, people can still shop online at https://www.prettylittlething.us/.

Information on injuries or possible arrests are not available at this time. Calls to the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station have not been returned as of the posting of this piece. Story will update as more information is available.
