The Rose Fetish and Fashion retail store closed at the 8722 Santa Monica location in West Hollywood after only being open for eight months. The adult retail store, which opened in mid-September 2020, was gone by mid-May 2021. A new up and coming kink and fetish sex shop called Endless Romance, has opened on the corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Huntley Drive.

The Rose Fetish and Fashion invested a great deal of time and money revamping the retail space that was acquired from the legendary 665 Kink & Leather, which had been at this location for a good 23 years. It is unclear why the Rose was not able to stay open. According to a former employee who is now working for Endless Romance, the Rose did not get much traffic, because it failed to reach out to the local community. According to his assessment, the recent passing of General manager John Logan (JC), who was a key person in running the operations, did not help them stay in business. The Rose website is still live, but looks unfinished. It is unclear if it will offer its selection online. Emails to owner Lavi Yedid have not been returned as of the posting of this piece.

The fetish and leather space has once again changed hands and is currently being re-imagined. The window displays are being reworked and the exterior has been repainted pink. The artistic leather rainbow-colored strips will remain as a store front display in honor of former manager John Logan.

Endless Romance promises to continue offering a wide selection of fetish gear and other adult products. Although 665 has technically closed at that location, the new store will continue to offer loyal customers a selection of 665 leather and neoprene goods and apparel, such as harnesses, jockstraps, hats and other leather gear.

“It’s going to be a little bit different,” a sales clerk at Endless Romance told WEHO TIMES. “We’re going to offer more more merchandise. We will still offer a wide variety of harnesses, which everyone loves. They will come from 665. We will offer more merchandise for women. We have a lesbian population in this community that has felt excluded by other fetish stores.”

Endless Romance is currently open for business, but they’re in the process of getting more inventory into the store. A grand opening will be announced soon.
