The Kardashians Billboard Vandalized in West Hollywood

A billboard promoting The Kardashians was vandalized with graffiti in West Hollywood, on Thursday at the Santa Monica Boulevard intersection, near San Vicente Boulevard. The graffiti was aimed at the Kardashian women, stating “Suck the D*ck right.”

The graffiti was reported and immediately removed due to its offensive nature. West Hollywood city workers were seen covering the vandalism at roughly 12 p.m. Thursday afternoon.

Speaking of the Kardashians, the entire billboard located across the street on the southwest corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and La Cienega Boulevard has been completely removed. The billboard was mainly monopolized by Kylie Jenner to promote her makeup and skincare line. She had been gracing the billboard on that corner facing east for many years, as far back as 2018, and most likely further back than that.

It is not yet clear if the giant billboard was removed to make way for a redevelopment project slated for that corner.

Graffiti placed on public and private property in the City of West Hollywood is removed at no charge. Graffiti is generally removed within three days of notification, and graffiti of a graphic or obscene nature is removed immediately. To report graffiti, you can call the City’s Graffiti Hotline at (323) 848-6557 or fill out a Service Request.

For additional information regarding the City’s graffiti removal services, call (323) 848-6879.

If you see something, say something. Anonymous tips can be called into Crimestoppers at (800) 222-TIPS (8477) or by texting 274637 (C-R-I-M-E-S on most keypads) with a cell phone. Anyone with information can also drop a tip at https://www.lacrimestoppers.org.

Your identity is always encrypted and anonymous. No personal information, phone number, email, IP address, or location is ever requested, saved, traced, tracked, or monitored. Period.

The purpose of Los Angeles Regional Crime Stoppers is to prevent and reduce crime by forming a partnership among the community, law enforcement, and the media to offer anonymity and cash rewards to anyone providing information leading to an arrest.

Crime Stoppers encourages members of the community to assist local law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime by overcoming the two key elements that inhibit community involvement: fear and apathy.

The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station polices the City of West Hollywood and the unincorporated communities of Franklin Canyon, Universal City (which includes Universal Theme Park, Studios, and Citywalk), and the Federal Enclave in West Los Angeles.

It’s great to see this. The billboard has been an obnoxious presence in our community.
