The Domain West Hollywood is Hosting Sips with Mayor Sepi Shyne Event

The Domain West Hollywood, located at 7141 Santa Monica Boulevard, is hosting Sips with Sepi, as part of a monthly community meet-and-greet with West Hollywood Mayor Sepi Shyne. The event is taking place in WeHo’s eastside on Saturday, October 14, 2023 at the Domain’s lobby, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.

The event will be co-hosted by community members Richard Maggio, Lola Davidson, Betty Sanders, and Zachary Zangara. Members from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station, and Block by Block West Hollywood ambassadors will be present at the event to interact with the WeHo residents and stakeholders.

Breakfast Republic will provide pastry treats and coffee.

The Domain hosted a similar event back in January where community members had an opportunity to chat with the Mayor and ask questions, or raise concerns about issues important to them in the city.

Captain Moulder of the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station was in attendance, along with Danny Rivas, the City of West Hollywood’s Director of Community Safety, and Block by Block Ambassadors. Various members of boards and West Hollywood Commissions also attended the meet-and-greet Mayor Shyne.

Maggio and Davidson were both appointed by former West Hollywood council member and Mayor John D’Amico. They finished their terms as West Hollywood commissioners earlier this year.

Sips with Sepi is a monthly event that takes place at various coffee shops throughout the City of West Hollywood. This is an effort for the Mayor to be accessible and transparent to the community she serves with the hopes to engage West Hollywood residents with the Mayor and City Staff.

Mayor Pro Tempore John Erickson hosts a similar event on Saturdays at Plummer Park. The next Saturday in Plummer Park with John will be on October 21.

“Have an issue? Need to get connected to services? Just want to chat with your Mayor Pro Tempore? This is our twenty-seventh event in Plummer Park and I’m looking forward to you all joining us! Bring a chair, a reusable cup for some coffee, and your dog (or cat), and let’s talk! Come out to the Great Lawn (along Vista St.) at Plummer Park and meet and speak with West Hollywood Mayor Pro Tempore John M. Erickson. Can’t make this event? Email John at [email protected].

Seems a waste of time considering most of the people at DOMAIN are Airbnb guests.

Sepideh Shyne has been so harmful to the Jewish community in West Hollywood. I pray that she never holds a public office again.

I’m Jewish and I haven’t seen Sepi be harmful to Jews at all. Not sure what you’re talking about.

The article say 4171 Santa Monica instead of 7141. That might be confusing to most people.

Why would anyone support this fraud who has hurt our community in so many ways? This community deserves and needs real leadership. She’s making fools of anyone who donates to her “campaign.”

Why would anyone listen to you? You are obsessed. Your feelings are personal lacking any real logic. “Hurt our community” he says. You sound foolish.

Will representatives of the Unite union also be there since they make the decisions in West Hollywood?

Yeah. We should go back to the good old days when the west hollywood chamber was electing all of our council members with their super pacs that are no longer relevant. Isn’t that you’re real beef here? My guess is you’re a white gay old man over 60.

Wow, you are a very bitter person. You must lead a sad and pathetic life. The Unite union is the same thing as a super pac. I guess it’s too much to ask to have people on the city council who are actually qualified to lead a city. Only fools support things like defunding the police department. It’s just a matter of time before these fools are voted off the city council.
