Eat take out and support local WeHo restaurants during Safer at Home Orders. The City is reminding the community that many restaurants in West Hollywood are open for business and offer pickup/takeout and delivery options during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The City of West Hollywood is home to some of the best restaurants in the world. Many West Hollywood restaurants remain open and are offering takeout, curbside, and delivery meals and adhere to social distancing guidelines during the emergency.
“One of the worst things about the Safer At Home directive is being disconnected from friends, neighbors, and the city around us. Especially since so much of what makes West Hollywood dynamic and exciting is the time we spend with each other, making community,” said City of West Hollywood Mayor John D’Amico. “We need to start hanging out together, and talking, and seeing each other again. So, why not plan to #WeHoDinnerConnect this week – maybe Saturday at 8 p.m.? Or Sunday at 7 p.m.? Or even just 15 minutes of screen-to-screen gossip. And you don’t have to cook a thing… many of our local restaurants have meals and menus tailored to take-away choices and they’re ready to send food over to your house or make arrangements for you to pick it up. Don’t be alone if you don’t have to be – take advantage of the technology out there and invite a friend to Zoom in for Ziti or share some Farfalle over FaceTime.”

The City of West Hollywood has declared a local emergency in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak and is advising community members to adhere to Los Angeles County Safer at Home and California State Stay at Home orders, which remain in effect until May 15, 2020. The City urges everyone to stay in place, maintain your space, and cover your face. Leave home only for essential needs; always use social distancing of at least six feet; and follow guidelines to use cloth face coverings such as bandanas or scarves so that medical masks, which are in short supply, are prioritized for health professionals.
West Hollywood City Hall is currently closed to the public and has suspended all in-person transactions. All public City buildings, playgrounds, parks, and facilities are closed. City Hall will remain accessible for business and essential services with transactions to be conducted by phone (323) 848-6400 and via the City’s website at www.weho.org.
