“The month of June is a time where we celebrate all of the beautiful identities of our LGBTQ community and work to create spaces year-round where everyone is seen, heard, loved, accepted, and embraced.

#PrideMonth is also a time where the LGBTQ community and allies alike unite to celebrate the overcoming of challenges and prejudice. We take this time to acknowledge the significant progress we have made but also hold our heads high knowing we have so much further to go.

As we celebrate the resilience, power, and beauty of the LGBTQ community this month, we invite you to celebrate WeHo Pride with us in one of the most influential cities in the nation – West Hollywood!

The City of West Hollywood is the small but mighty vibrant heart of the LGBTQ community, where acceptance is a way of life and LOVE IS LOVE. There is no place in the world that does it like us. In WeHo, you are not only accepted and supported — you are cherished and most definitely loved.

Together, we have built a sanctuary in this city. Every step we take, word we speak, and party we throw resonates far beyond the boundaries of West Hollywood. Our voices echo around the world, and together, we continue to inspire countless hearts to embrace their authentic, fabulous selves.

Since incorporation in 1984, the City of West Hollywood has become one of the most influential cities in the nation for its outspoken advocacy on LGBTQ issues. No other city of its size has had a greater impact on the national public policy discourse on fairness and inclusiveness for LGBTQ people. The City has advocated for nearly four decades for measures to support LGBTQ people and has been in the vanguard on efforts to gain and protect equality for all people on a state, national, and international level.
