The City of WeHo and WeHo Chamber Invite Community to Shop Small on Small Business Saturday

West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce and City of West Hollywood are encouraging the community to Shop Small during Small Business Saturday, November 30, in support of local small businesses. Residents and visitors will join millions of consumers across the nation as they “shop small” on the first shopping Saturday after Thanksgiving. Small Business Saturday was founded in 2010 in response to independent business owners’ challenges to compete with big-box stores’ advertising budgets to drive customers through their doors during the holiday shopping season. Shoppers in West Hollywood can stroll the streets of the City’s Design District, Robertson Boulevard, Melrose Avenue, Santa Monica Boulevard, or the Sunset Strip, among other prime retail spots in the City. A list of participating businesses is available on the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce website at

West Hollywood will also welcome a number of television personalities to the City in support of Small Business Saturday. The celebrity lineup is as follows:

At 12 p.m., Wendy Burch, KTLA 5’s Emmy®-winning journalist, will be at Gelato Festival, located at 8906 Melrose Avenue. Hang out with Wendy and grab some midday gelato.

At 1:30 p.m., Robert Kovacik, NBC4’s award-winning reporter will be at the first West Coast location of Dogpound, located at 627 N. Robertson Boulevard. Come check out this exclusive by-appointment-only gym for yourself when it opens its doors for Shop Small.

At 2:30 p.m., Broadway star and Emmy®-winning writer Bruce Vilanch will have Shop Small covered at Rounderbum, located at 802 N. San Vicente Boulevard to help round out wardrobes with shapely essentials.

Needing workout gear after your holiday feast or your gelato run? At 4 p.m., join Golden Globe®-winning actress Elisabeth Rohm at RYU Apparel Pop Up, located at 945 N Fairfax Avenue.
