Supercuts Ramada in West Hollywood has Permanently Closed

The Supercuts Ramada West Hollywood, located at 8589 Santa Monica Boulevard, has permanently closed. According to eye witnesses, the place was cleared out this past weekend. Movers were seen loading a truck with barber chairs and whatever was left inside the already shuttered salon.

A post on their official Yelp page confirms that the closure at the affordable hair salon is permanent, even though their business status has them being closed temporarily. There is no signage explaining why they closed. COVID-19 and unable to pay rent is the likely culprit.

The closure of Supercuts Ramada happened right after the state of California announced that it is allowing indoor hair salons and barber shops to re-open in September. Governor Newsom announced the state is getting rid of the state’s watch list system, and instead, introduced a new color-coded, four-tiered system, which would have granted Supercuts permission to reopen for indoor hair-styling and haircuts.

However, Los Angeles County said they are sticking with stricter measures until local health officials and the LA Board of Supervisors can review the new state guidelines.

None of it matters as the Supercuts at the Ramada Inn is now completely empty. It joins other businesses along Santa Monica Boulevard that have not survived the closures brought on by the coronavirus pandemic.

The Supercuts hair salon in West Hollywood at Ramada West Hollywood offered a variety of services from haircuts for men and women to a relaxing Tea Tree Experience, to color services and facial waxing–all at an affordable price. The salon was loved by many for walk-in services. No appointment was necessary and they were open 7 days a week.

“This salon location has been permanently closed for business,” reads a COVID-19 update on their business Yelp page, dated Monday, August 31, 2020. “Please come see your favorite stylists at their new locations as follows: Bethany, Maria P., and Tabita are now at 8101 W Beverly Blvd., Los Angeles – (323) 653-0192 Maria C., and Nuttinee are now at 9150 W Olympic Blvd., Beverly Hills – (310) 860-1458 Maria M. is now at 1370 S Beach Blvd., La Habra – (562) 690-6702 Shane is now at 14871 Telegraph Rd, La Mirada – (562)946-4700 We look forward to seeing you soon!”

Wow. This is a huge loss for the Weho community as it provided affordable hairdos for the eldergays. Sadly, the democrat run cities in CA are enabling rioting, looting, business closing while giving tax breaks to big corporations, developers and night life bar owners who sell drugs on the side.
