Spotify Hosts Best New Artist Grammys Party at Pacific Design Center

Spotify hosted the 6th Annual Best New Artist Grammys Party at the Pacific Design Center (PDC), located at 8687 Melrose Avenue on Thursday, February 2, 2022. The invite-only event showcased all 10 of this year’s best new artist Grammy nominees: Anitta, Omar Apollo, Domi & JD Beck, Muni Long, Samara Joy, Latto, Måneskin, Tobe Nwigwe, Molly Tuttle and Wet Leg.

After a three-year hiatus, Spotify hosted its pre-Grammy performance showcase for the best new artist nominees. The showcase, which began in 2017, featured intimate sets by artists such as Lizzo, Lil Nas X, and Billie Eilish, the eventual winner, in its last outing in 2020. Spotify skipped the event in 2021, due to the pandemic, but held a poolside brunch in April when the Grammys took place in Las Vegas, with the best new artist nominees in attendance but no performances.
