Out on the Mountain is the creation of Six Flags Magic Mountain with Ray Rhodes and Out Ventures back in 2008. Over 6,000 people are expected to attend this annual Southern California event of thrill rides and private LGBTQ party. This year’s event supports organizations including The Los Angeles LGBT Center, The OUTreach Center, local GSA chapters, and many others.
“We are excited for 2023’s event with record VIP sales and tremendous interest so far,” said David Fong, one of the event producers. “Six Flags Magic Mountain continues to be an excellent partner that is working to have a festive and inclusive official LGBTQ event open to the community and allies.”
For this year’s event, Out on the Mountain attendees may come to the park early when the park opens to the general public from 10:30am-6pm and stay or join when it becomes the private LGBTQ party, Out at the Mountain, from 6pm-12am.
