There was another vehicle collision at Fountain Avenue and La Cienega Boulevard on Saturday night. This was the second car crash at that intersection this week. The recent accident occurred at roughly 7:00 p.m. West Hollywood Sheriff’s deputies and West Hollywood Parking Enforcement were on the scene. The northbound lane to Sunset Boulevard was sealed off to moving traffic on La Cienega Boulevard for over an hour.
A seperate two-car collision at the same intersection on La Cienega Boulevard and Fountain Avenue occurred on Wednesday night, caused traffic congestion. Around 5:45 p.m., a Volkswagen and a Honda collided as the VW made a left turn from Fountain Avenue to La Cienega Boulevard heading south. The collision shut down the southbound lane on La Cienega. The Honda was mobile and able to clear the way, but the VW was inoperable and blocked the southbound lane until a tow truck arrived for assistance.
No injuries were reported in both incidents.
