Gay Days Anaheim returns to Disney Parks on September 17-19, 2021. A sea of red shirts and Mickey Mouse ears will make the Happiest Place on Earth a LOT more happier as summer comes to an end. The three-day event will be jam-packed with LGBTQ+ folks and the people who love them at Disneyland theme park and California Adventure.
It’s all set to begin at the Gay Days Welcome Center, located at the Trillium Room in Disney’s Grand California Hotel. Entrance to the Welcome Center is free all weekend long. It’s a place to buy Gay Days swag, grab free swag from event sponsors, pick up event tickets and get information on events throughout the weekend. You may even bump into some celebrities.

The headliner for the weekend is Broadway legend and three-time Tony winner Chita Rivera for an Intimate Conversation with Chita Rivera. The evening will be hosted by Broadway Historian & Gay Days Creator, Eddie Shapiro. This event will benefit Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS and will be held on Friday, Sept 17, at 6pm in the Sequoia Ballroom, Grand Californian Hotel (1600 Disneyland Drive Anaheim, CA ) Tickets are 30-$50.
On Friday, there is also a free Trans Talk event held at the Sorrell Room in the Grand Californian Hotel at 4pm. The event will be held by Jenna Robinson and lead a dissection on transgender empathy and accessibility, visibility, and equality.
Throughout the weekend there will be free meet up. On Saturday, Gay Days will be at Disneyland park. Saturday events includes: The Gay Days Scavenger Hunt, The Big River Boat Ride (11am); Family Lunch at the Plaza Inn on Main Street, USA (12pm); Group Photo at Sleeping Beauty Castle (3pm).
On Sunday, Gay Days will be at Disney’s California Adventure in the park. Here are a few fun events, which include: Grizzly Bear Unite (11am); Photo meet up on Pixar Pier (2pm); Ladies Ice Cream Social (2:30pm)

An Evening with Audra McDonald: Six-time Tony winner Audrey McDonald hosts a very intimate show. Tickets include pre-show and reception and Hors d’oeuvres buffet. Friday, Sept 17, 8pm, at Sequoia Ballroom, Grand California Hotel. Tickets are $80-$130.

Kingdom Dance Party with DJ Kimberly S: KINGDOM is Gay Days Tradition, Featuring DJ Kimberly S.! The Gay Days Anaheim Dance Party returns to House of Blues, Anaheim. Tickets are extremely limited this year so they will sell out fast. This event is 18+.

Jackie Cox in JackieVison: This is Jackie’s special Disney edition of her show, “JackieVision!” Saturday, September 18, 7:00 PM, House of Blues Anaheim Tickets $35-$75.
The MisMatch Game: It’s the funniest game in town. MisMatch Game has been serving up saucy game show insanity to packed houses at the LA LGBT Center in Hollywood, raising $165,000 over 17 years. Hosts include Dennis Hensley with Danny Casillas (Reba Areba), Chris Pudlo (Pee-wee Herman), Daniele Gaither (Wendy Williams), Dante (Jack Nicholson), Rebekah Kochan (Paris Hilton), Felix Pire (Ricardo Montalban) and Maile Flanagan (Danny Bonaduce). Plunge! The Pool Party: The Gay Days Anaheim splashtacular pool party is back at the beautiful Anaheim Majestic Garden Hotel with DJ Zach Moos! Located at 900 South Disneyland Drive, the hotel is just off the 5 freeway. Sunday, September 19, 12:00 noon- 4:00 pm. 18 + Cost $25.00
Nina West in The Wonderful World of Nina Nina West: Nina is returning to Gay Days, this time in her own kaleidoscopic show on Sunday, September 19, 6:00 pm. Sequoia Ballroom, Grand Californian Hotel.
Jan Sport in Jantasia: Fresh from Ru Paul’s Drag Race All Stars, Jan is coming to Gay Days with a one-woman show on Sunday, September 19, 8:00 pm. Sorrell Room, Grand Californian Hotel, Sorrell Room. Cost: $35-$55.
