RioZonas Açai cafe is opening at 8603 Santa Monica Boulevard on Wednesday, March 23, 2022. The restaurant known for its healthy options of açai products, will offer bowls, smoothies, juices, healthy snacks, teas, and coffee. They have a location in Studio City and North Hollywood and are now adding the City of West Hollywood to their roster (located underneath Trader Joes).
RioZonas Açai is family owned. Founded in 2015, they opened their first location in Studio City with a goal to offer an authentic experience of Açai and other healthy products in the United States, inspired by the authentic Brazilian way of serving the Amazonian super fruit.
“We are passionate about açai and our customers,” reads a statement on their website.
“Our product is differentiated, tasty and a genuine alternative on the market, which enabled us to open our second store in 2018 in North Hollywood, which became the BIGGEST açai store in the entire country.”
After having their recipes tested and approved following their second location, the menu expanded, offering additional healthy food and drink options.
The West Hollywood menu is divided into three categories: Açai Bowls, Açai Smoothies and Raw Juice Bar. They offer three sizes, small, medium and large with an option to build your own, offering a selection of of toppings.

Following the COVID-19 pandemic, RioZonas Açai is ready to break new ground by working with farmers in the Amazon to produce sustainable quantities of açaí and increasingly expanding their product options to better serve the diverse customer profiles while also increasing our direct presence to consumers, reselling our açaí to other small businesses and distributing our products to other US states through wholesale partners.
According to their official instagram page, they are currently hiring in preparation for their grand opening.
