    This year, the West Hollywood alcohol and drug-free event #BOOM! NYE Party, is coming to your living room on Friday, December 31, 2021, starting at 9:30 p.m. and will run until just after midnight on Saturday, January 1, 2022. The gala affair will feature celebrity guests, music videos, live musical performances, and a midnight countdown.

    The drug and alcohol-free NYE party is going virtual with a live-broadcast hosted by West Hollywood’s own premier drag performer Salina EsTitties.

    The broadcast will feature:

    – Music from djquinnc
    – Celebrity Guests
    – Musical performances and Entertainment
    – A midnight countdown

    The first 300 to register at www.boomweho.com are eligible to pick up your free #BOOM BOX available at two West Hollywood locations:

    Thursday, December 30
    10 AM to 4 PM – 12 Step Store – 8730 Santa Monica Blvd C, West Hollywood, CA 90069
    4 PM to 7 PM – Block Party – 8853 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA 90069

    This year’s celebration will bring hundreds of people together online for a fabulous celebration and an alcohol-free midnight toast. #BOOM! In Your Living Room will take place #BOOM! is a free event.

    #BOOM! was founded by Jimmy Palmieri and 5 other dedicated community members. The idea was born out of a need for a safe space on New Year’s Eve for the recovery community and individuals who want a drug and alcohol-free NYE party celebration.

    The event is sponsored by the City of West Hollywood in partnership with Tweaker’s Project, West Hollywood Recovery Center, APLA Health, and West Hollywood Project,

    The West Hollywood Project is part of the Institute for Public Strategies (IPS) and is focused on working with the City of West Hollywood to improve public health and safety through preventing problems related to binge and underage drinking. IPS is a nonprofit organization, utilizing evidence-based strategies to help communities make lasting improvements in health, safety, and quality of life. IPS is currently funded by the County of Los Angeles Department of Public Health, Substance Abuse Prevention and Control to implement multipronged projects in four communities including West Hollywood.
