Prime Video is promoting its highly anticipated film, “Red, White & Royal Blue,” with some music on the streets of West Hollywood via a double decker karaoke bus that’s taking over Rocco’s WeHo, Hamburger Marys ‘s and Milk Bar in Los Angeles, beginning at 10:30am on Sunday, August 13. Participants can hop on and sing their hearts out and re-enact the moment when Prince Henry captured the heart of Alex Clairemont-Diaz with an impromptu karaoke number. Those brave enough to hop on and can take a chance at finding love by serenade strangers to a curated enemies-to-lovers themed setlist perfectly tied to the film.
The wrapped double-decker bus, inspired by the the Red, What and Royal Blue movie, will take passengers on a voyage to West Hollywood’s most iconic landmarks, making various stops along the route.
Beginning at 10:30am PST, the bus tour will start from Milk Bar (7150 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90046). At this location, the renowned bakery will distribute their delectable ‘Birthday Cake’ slices with a Red, White & Royal Blue twist (while supplies last). This gesture pays homage to the pivotal cake moment between Alex and Prince Henry, a scene that triggers an international incident. This incident becomes a defining juncture in the narrative, compelling them to feign friendship to mend relations between the US and UK, ultimately igniting an unforeseen romance.
Subsequently, the bus will proceed to Rocco’s (1:00pm-3:00pm) and Hamburger Mary’s (3:30-5:30pm). Along the journey, the bus will offer exclusive photo opportunities, interactions with the charismatic King’s Guards, exciting giveaways, and more. Prime Video and KIIS-FM are collaborating to bring this excitement to life. Radio hosts will be amplifying the enthusiasm to listeners all across Los Angeles.
This event is free and open to the public.
“Red, White & Royal Blue” will premiere exclusively on Prime Video globally on August 11th.
