Zen Healing WeHo Celebrated 20 Years on 420 Day on Thursday. Customers waited in a long line that stretched from Santa Monica Boulevard, and down San Vicente Boulevard, for a chance to grab Zen Healing’s famous BUDDHA BAGS (valued at $420), which was available for just a penny for the first 100 customers who spent $100. They also offered up to 40% off cannabis products throughout the day.
The cannabis dispensary hosted a Parking Lot Takeover event in the back from 12pm – 5pm, which coincided with 420 Day, the unofficial holiday that celebrates smoking a marijuana bud with your buds.

The celebration began with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to commemorate 20 years, hosted by the West Hollywood Chamber of Commerce, with the help of West Hollywood council members Lauren Meister and Chelsea Byers. Council member Meister presented owners Eric Kinney and Fabiola Kinney a Certificate of Recognition. People were waiting to get inside, so the speeches were kept short and to a minimum.
WeHo Chamber Board President congratulated Zen Healing for being open for two decades and executive chamber member Luis Saldana presented with a traditional Buck for Good Luck framed dollar bill to wish them continued success.

The Parking Lot takeover had games like Cornhole and Connect Four. There were booths promoting cannabis related items, and Zen also offered their guests free food from Los Lobos food truck, and free ice cream. There was also live music by Feed the Kitty.
There event also had some familiar faces. People were asking to take photos with Chris “The Glove” Taylor, a DJ and producer on the West Coast hip hop scene. Jerry Krecicki Jr was also at the event. He is widely known in the cannabis scene and at one point worked for High Times.
