    JJLA, the producers of the OUTLOUD Music Festival and WeHo Pride and the City of West Hollywood hosted an official WeHo Pride kick-off party at Heart WeHo on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, with Mayor John M. Erickson Ph.D, Vice Mayor Chelsea Byers, and council members Sepi Shyne and John Heilman. The event was a celebration of the up-and-coming WeHo Pride Weekend.

    Drag Queen Laureate Pickle performed live and introduced city council members who all wished everyone a happy and safe WeHo Pride. The event had an open bar, and served hordevours with a live DJ throughout the night.

    WeHo Pride Weekend (May 31 to June 2) will include a free WeHo Pride Street Fair representing a diverse array of LGBTQ community groups as part of visibility, expression, and celebration; the Women’s Freedom Festival; the annual Dyke March; free Friday Night at OUTLOUD; OUTLOUD at WeHo Pride music festival; the WeHo Pride Parade, and a wide range of community group programming throughout Pride month. The WeHo Pride Arts Festival (June 14 – June 16) will take place at various locations throughout West Hollywood.

    Permit parking requirements will be lifted for WeHo Pride Weekend from Friday, May 31, 2024, at 4 p.m. through Monday, June 3, 2024, at 7 a.m. Parking meters will be enforced throughout the weekend. Attendees of WeHo Pride Weekend festivities are encouraged to observe the boundaries of the City of West Hollywood when parking; if parking occurs in the City of Los Angeles and/or the City of Beverly Hills, all parking restrictions for those cities must be observed.
