    PHOTOS – OUT on the Mountain at Six Flags Magic Mountain Celebrates 15 Years

    Out on the Mountain at Six Flags Magic Mountain celebrated 15 years this past Friday, August 18, 2023. The private event celebrating the LGBTQ+ community closed the park to the open public at 6pm, making it accessible exclusively to OUT on the Mountain ticket holders until 12am.

    It was a festive start at the park known for thrill rides and extreme rollercoasters. Guests were treated to a complimentary rainbow fanny pack at the entrance where they were greeted by Sylvester the Cat and Daffy Duck for a photo-op. Guests were granted a photo-op with the Warner Bros cartoon characters.

    The Welcome Party kicked things off at 7pm at the Meto Park Pub with DJ SRO spinning some dance tunes, while the Latin Dance Party, DJ Les Oritz kept the energy going at the entrance of the DC Universe.

    OUT on the mountain kept the PRIDE theme going by offering LGBTQ+ drinks throughout the evening. There was the Yass Queen (Hibiscus Lemonade Cocktail), the Pride-Rita (Pear Margarita Cocktail), and for foodies, they offering a Rainbow Fruity Pebbles Funnel Cake.

    Thrill seekers were able to get on lots of the rides including Full Throttle, WONDER WOMAN Flight of Courage, SUPERMAN: Escape from Krypton, Twisted Colossus, Swashbuckler, Merrie Melodies Carousel, LEX LUTHOR: Drop of Doom, Buccaneer, Batman the Ride, Jammin’ Bumpers just to name a few!

    If one wanted to take a break from the rides, the carnival games offered another form of entertainment. You could show off your skills to win a stuffed Tweety Bird for that special someone you want to impress.

    The main stage at Full Throttle kept the party raging at 10pm with DJ Ray Rhodes spinning and getting the crowd warmed up for the main event with the Out on the Mountain hottie go-go dancers who kept the audience entertained throughout the night.

    This year, Delta Works from RuPaul’s Drag Race was the hostess for the evening. She welcomed to the stage singer, Teyana Trendz who sang two songs live for the crowd including her trans song “S+D”. Then Salina EsTitties from RuPaul’s Drag Race fame took over stage for one of two performances. Recording artist, Shab took the stage and performed two live songs including her new single “Spell on Me”.

    To wrap up the main stage performances, Salina EsTitties shut the mountain down with a final performance thad made the crowd go full throttle.

    Between the main stage performances, VIP ticket holders were able to do meet and greets with Salina EsTitties and Delta Works.

    This year’s event supports organizations including The Los Angeles LGBT Center, The OUTreach Center, local GSA chapters, and many others.
