Micky’s West Hollywood, the restaurant and bar located at 8857 Santa Monica Blvd, hosted its annual Holiday Party this past Sunday, December 17, 2023, starting at 5 pm. Party promoter/producer Stefano Rosso organized the celebration, offering various forms of entertainment and a free buffet featuring items from their menu. The event was free to attend.
Patrons were treated to free champagne as soon as they entered the premises. Go-go dancers, drag queens, and drag performers kept everyone entertained throughout the evening.
The highlight of the evening, aside from the free food, was the snow that created a festive atmosphere on the Micky’s WeHo Patio.
The buffet menu included turkey, ham, mashed potatoes and gravy, turkey stuffing, chicken skewers, veggies, and pumpkin pie for dessert.
Micky’s West Hollywood made headlines earlier this month when it was revealed that the iconic gay restaurant, bar, and nightclub had officially been listed for sale. The Brandon Michaels Group of Marcus & Millichap, a commercial real estate agency, has been selected to exclusively market the 9,200 square foot, two-story space situated on 0.10 acres of land (4,406 SF), in the heart of West Hollywood’s LGBT Rainbow District.
According to the listing, the seller will consider a sale-leaseback for 5 years from the close of escrow with one additional 5-year term (lease terms are potentially negotiable), for the asking price of $14,000,000. The seller will also consider a sale of the operating Micky’s business, which includes a type 47 and type 5B ABC license and a tangible and intangible asset for $4,000,000.
First opening its doors in 1989 (and then closing for about two years after a fire broke out at the space in 2007), Micky’s has established itself as the go-to venue in WeHo as one of the longest-running, most successful, gay-owned and operated nightclubs in Los Angeles. Seven days a week, Micky’s continues to attract a hugely diverse crowd throughout the week, with top-notch DJs, state-of-the-art audio and visual elements, and a modern atmosphere. Micky’s WeHo is also famous for Friday and Saturday night Afterhours, making it the only gay nightclub in West Hollywood that’s able to stay open after 2 am. Featuring a variety of themed nights and music genres, Micky’s is the destination place for the ultimate nightlife experience in West Hollywood.
According to Operations Manager Adam Eramian, the restaurant, nightclub, and bar has fed upwards of 200 people at their past holiday parties. It’s a way to celebrate and give thanks to their customers who make Micky’s their nightlife destination.
