This past Friday, September 9th, Six Flags Magic Mountain hosted OUT on the Mountain 2022, a private ticketed event for the LGBTQ+ community. The park was closed to the public at 6pm and the event ran to 12pm.
Out on the Mountain 2022 was fun if not a bit hazardous with rain hitting the park from the tropical storm, Kay. A few of the rides were shut down, but all the major roller-coaster rides were flying high. Some were closed temporarily. For instance, the Gold Rush was shut down a bit due to rain but then came back to life after the rain stopped.

The best thing about OUT on the Mountain 2022 is there were hardly any wait times for the coasters. Wonder Woman: Flight of Courage looked like it had a bit of a line of people, but that is the Six Flags newest coaster, so everyone wanted to fly.
The rain did not stop the large crowd from having a bunch of fun. Many found themselves taking shelter between rides at the Full Throttle Surf Bar for some beer and snakes wine.
The three stage areas were rocking around the park. At the Metro Park Pub, there was DJ SRO and two drag shows by Whisper & Co.

The second stage was the Latin Dance Party with DJ Les Ortiz by the DC Universe. This area included a dance floor.
The third was a Dance Party held at The Full Throttle Stage with legendary DJ Ray Rhodes, and was hosted by the stunning, Tiffany Vogue. The crowd enjoyed Out of the Mountain sexy dancers who kept their sexiness up even though the rain come down on the stage.
Heidi N Closet was set to perform, she was unable to make the event. Instead the audience was wowed by Pandora Boxx, who performed a tribute to the late Olivia Newton-John. The stage was so rainy and wet Boxx slipped a little on the stage.

The Future X took the wet stage after Pandora Boxx. They performed a few songs, which the crowd loved. You could tell they danced with caution on the slippery stage.
Even with the rain, and boy do we need it, OUT on the Mountain 2022 was a super fun experience. It’s been a couple of years since I last went, but this year was definitely more crowded than I remember. There was something fun for everyone … even Daffy Duck and Porky Pig joined in on the fun.
