Pantheon Coffee House is Now Open in West Hollywood

Pantheon Coffee House celebrated its grand opening earlier this month at 1010 N Fairfax Ave in West Hollywood’s Fairfax District. The new coffee shop welcomed the community on February 2, 2023, with music and 50 percent off specials as part of its official launch in WeHo, offering customers an evening of exquisite coffee, engaging conversations, and a first look at the space and a taste of its unique offerings.

The new coffee house has taken over the space that once housed Market Style Restaurant, which did not last very long. According to Google Maps, the restaurant lasted for about a year, maybe a year and a half. The space was split into two businesses, and it is now home to Flippers, which opened in October 2023, specializing in pancakes and other breakfast items. Pantheon Coffee House moved into the space next door.

Before Market Style Restaurant, the space is mostly remembered as Atlantic Tire and Auto Service, which operated in that spot for many years before closing for good in 2019.

Pantheon Coffee House is known for its specialty coffee, cozy retreat, and soulful music. According to Sam Davar, who co-owns Pantheon with his friend Amir Bayat, they plan to host musical acts and offer the best products available. They will not enforce any time limits in the hopes that customers will come by and chill at the space, which they hope will be a hit with their customers. There is a piano for live music on special nights.

The menu offers a signature Apollo latte, Freddo Cappuccino, Fizzy Romano, along with classic espressos, cold drinks from the brew bar, organic teas, and food items including toasts and homemade sandwiches, all at a reasonable price considering the $18 sandwiches being sold in that area.

Pantheon Coffee House is open Monday – Friday 7am – 5pm and 8am – 6pm on the weekends.

I thought this had been open for two months. I definitely went there in early January. Definitely a cool space and good coffee. My only gripe was that it incredible slow for the coffee to come out. I just had a drip coffee and it took more than 20 minutes. Maybe that was a soft open and I hope they have ironed out operations issues like that.

Can you BE any more of a jerk? Thank God it’s not another pot shop or bar/club. I’d do a dance in the street for every new business that is NOT one of those. Unfortunately, most of what IS opening up “new” in our city is the same old same old. So I’m thrilled this is something other than that. So go kiss my a**.

This is wonderful I can’t wait to come visit this place! However, if I see any sandwiches for $18, I’m going to simply tell them to kiss my ass!

Unfortunately, with the cost of doing business in West Hollywood, prices are higher here than most anywhere else in the LA area. The new norm thanks to the city council.
