The onePULSE Foundation Fundraiser is coming to The Abbey on Monday, June 5th.
David Cooley, the CEO and Founder of the Abbey Food & Bar in West Hollywood will be joined by Barbara Poma, the owner of Pulse Nightclub in Orlando for this special event is recognizing the one-year mark of the Pulse Nightclub tragedy on June 12, 2016.
100% of the proceeds will benefit onePULSE Foundation, the official charity created by the owners of Pulse nightclub. Donations will support the construction and maintenance of a memorial, community grants to care for the survivors and victims’ families, an educational program to promote amity among all segments of society, endowed scholarships for each of the 49 angels and ultimately a museum showcasing the historic artifacts and stories from the event.
The fundraiser begins at 7:00pm with a cocktail reception, followed by a seated multi-course dinner at The Chapel. Cocktails will be provided by Ketel One.
A charity drag show will follow dinner at 9:30pm at The Abbey. It is open to the general public, but donations will be accepted at the door throughout the evening.
Drag mistress Allusia will host the show. Other performers include: Sasha Colby, Jessica Wild, Misty Violet, Barbie’s Addiction, Calypso Jette and more to be announced.  The night will also include entertainers who have performed at Pulse Nightclub.
Several of the survivors are expected to be at the event to share their stories.
Limited reserved seating for the show is also available online. Tickets are limited to 125 people and are available for $150.

The onePULSE Foundation is a 501(c)(3) incorporated by the owners of Pulse Nightclub. The onePULSE Foundation was established to create a sanctuary of hope around this tragic day in American history which honors the 49 lives that were taken, the 68 injured victims, the affected survivors and the first responders and healthcare professionals who cared for the victims.
This fund is intended to support construction and maintenance of the memorial, community grants to care for the survivors and victims’ families, an educational program to promote amity among all segments of society, endowed scholarships for each of the 49 angels, and ultimately a museum showcasing historic artifacts and stories from the event.
