Lana Del Rey’s new album, “Did You Know that there’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd” is dropping on Friday, March 24, 2023. Mel’s Drive In is hosting a listening party featuring her newly released music on Monday, March 27, 2023, from 7pm – 9pm, in West Hollywood. Located at 8585 Sunset Boulevard, Mel’s Drive In hosted a similar event during the pandemic for Lana’s album “Chemtrails Over the Country Club” in 2021.

“We are honored to be hosting this event and so excited to share Lana’s music with you, as ONLY Lana’s music will be playing during this party,” reads a post on Mel’s Drive In’s Instagram account. “Be sure to try our new Lana Del Rey milkshake, check out our new Lana merch, and come by for some amazing giveaways🎉”

“What’s in the @honeymoon milkshake?” Asked Entertainment Tonight correspondent Deidre Behar Wellman, @deidrebehar.

“Cigs, coke, and cherries,” replied Lana Del Rey Fan Page @awyestoheaven.

“Maybe the cherries. Definitely not the rest 👍,” @melsdrivein responded.

Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd is the ninth studio album by Lana Del Rey by Interscope and Polydor Records. The album features production by Del Rey, Mike Hermosa, Jack Antonoff, Drew Erickson, Zach Dawes, and Benji and includes collaborations with Jon Batiste, Bleachers, Father John Misty, Tommy Genesis, SYML & Riopy. It was preceded by the release of the lead single and title track, “Did You Know That There’s a Tunnel Under Ocean Blvd”, on December 7, 2022; the second and third singles, “A&W” and “The Grants,” followed on February 14, 2023, and March 14, 2023.

Opened in 1997, Mel’s Drive In continues to be an ideal place for celebrity spotting and people watching. A favorite for locals and tourists alike, this location boasts an outdoor patio with a full view of the Strip and a large, airy dining room inside where you can play your favorite tunes on the tableside jukeboxes.

The diner is one of the last remaining “Googie” style buildings in Southern California, centrally located between Hollywood and Beverly Hills. They open for breakfast, offer a juice bar, and are known for serving a classic burger or a crisp salad before. The West Hollywood location is the only Mels that is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and is the premier after-hours spot on the Sunset Strip.
