This Thursday, May 16, 2024, Revolver WeHo will host the Brat Hellfire Gala, featuring the queer final viewing party of Disney+’s X-Men ’97, with special guest series voice actor JP Karliak. Karliak portrays Morph, the queer and non-binary character on X-Men ’97. The viewing party is an open-to-the-public event with no cover.

Other guests for the evening include Beau DeMayo (Executive Producer/Creator/Head Writer of “X-Men ’97”), The Brat Boys & Babes, Kiki Xtravaganza, Richard Rodriguez, and DJ Livv.

The evening will be co-hosted by Chris Riley and Kevin Winston, who will conduct a Q&A session with JP Karliak prior to the screening. The screening will commence at 10 pm, followed by an X-Men cosplay costume contest at 11 pm, with a $200 winning prize. At 12 am, a themed Drag Show featuring Megami of RuPaul’s Drag Race, with Samar Sin, Scythe, and Alley Meda, will take place.

X-Men ’97 is an animated series created by Beau DeMayo and is exclusively available on Disney+. It is a continuation of the original Marvel series X-Men: The Animated Series, which aired from 1992 to 1997. The series continues the story of the X-Men as they face new challenges following the loss of their leader, Professor X. X-Men ’97 premiered on March 20, 2024. The second season is already in production, with the third in development.

The evening will be presented by Digital LA and The Uncanny Experience, an immersive X-Fandom Convention (https://theuncannyexperience.com/). Revolver bar is located at 8851 Santa Monica Blvd, West Hollywood, CA.

JP Karliak will also be a guest at Q Con on June 15, 2024, with an in-person signing from 11 am to 12 pm and will participate in the X-Men ’97 panel from 12 pm to 12:45 pm.
