Mauricio Umansky Closes $24M Sale/Purchase of West Hollywood Condo

Rumors have surrounded the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars, but one thing seemed certain: Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky have been separated for a while now but were still living under the same roof.

However, in a move that suggests a more definitive end to their longstanding union, as confirmed by Architectural Digest last month, Umansky will be moving into 8899 Beverly Boulevard, the tawny, luxury residential building in West Hollywood. This new building has attracted significant attention from celebrities. Oppenheimer star Matt Damon purchased an $8.6 million unit on the fourth floor. Additionally, the building’s $24 million penthouse recently became Southern California’s highest-priced condo sale so far this year. According to TheMLS (the database used by real estate industry professionals), the original list price for the 6,451 sq. ft. penthouse was $25 million and sold for $24 million on May 26, 2024 ($3,720/sq. ft.). The condo is on the 10th floor and has 4 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms, with monthly HOA fees of $11,295. The deal was brokered by Umansky, Michelle Montany, and Taaseen Quresh, all via Umansky’s real estate brokerage, The Agency.

If you want to live like the estranged husband of a Beverly Hills housewife, Unit #8B, a 4,264 sq. ft., 4-bedroom, 2-bath can be yours for an asking price of $12,950,000.

     About 8899 Beverly Boulevard

Completed in 1964 by modernist architect Richard Dorman, the original Los Angeles Design Center stood as a classic example of mid-century modern architecture. Olson Kundig’s design evolves the iconic appeal of this historic building, while transforming the interior into upscale sanctuaries of quality and character.
