Mattel is Launching Barbie Theme Park – Includes Dream Closet Experience!

Scootch Legoland. Mattel is launching its first-ever theme park in Glendale, Arizona, which include Barbie, Masters of the Universe, Hot Wheels and Thomas & Friends.

“Step into the action-packed world of Mattel Adventure Park, the only place where you can get behind the wheel of a lightning-fast Hot Wheels go kart, join Thomas & Friends on a treasure hunt journey and enjoy a signature pink beverage on the third story rooftop of The Barbie Beach House,” reads a statement on the Mattel Adventure Theme Park website. “From rides and attractions that appeal to the tiniest of tots, to a double-looping launch coaster designed for speed, to a flying theater adventure that shoots for the stars – Mattel Adventure Park is built to delight guests of all ages.”

The park will offer a unique indoor/outdoor design to keep familie cool and comfortable on the hottest Arizona days with acres of air-conditioned space, and the themed party zones will set the stage for the ultimate Barbie, Hot Wheels, or Thomas & Friends birthday party experience.

Barbie fans will live out their own Barbie world fantasies at the Barbie Beach House. The exhibit will feature the Barbie flying theater, which will take “riders on a journey from deep underwater to outer space.”

A Barbie experience is not complete without clothes, so the theme park will offer the Dream Closet Experience with state-of-the-art hologram technology that will help curate the ultimate wardrobe.

Mattel Adventure World is about nine acres large. The park will feature a nine-hole mini golf attraction that will also be an immersive experience with some Mattel Games.

Master of the Universe, the iconic Castle Grayskull will be transformed into an over 4,500 square-foot laser tag arena. Fans will “have the power to fight for Eternia.”

There’s no exact date as to when the park will open. According to Travel and Leisure, it will open sometime in 2024.
