    London West Hollywood Teams with John Legend for Seasonal Dining Experience

    The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills has launched “Legend and LVE at The London WeHo Rooftop,” a partnership with LVE Wines by singer/composer John Legend. The new al fresco dining experience at 1020 N San Vicente Blvd, offers expansive views from the Hollywood Sign to Santa Monica paired with both a la carte and prix-fixe dinner offerings.

    Diners can now enjoy dinner above the city at The London’s poolside new space, either in a cabana or at an intimate table.

    “We are always seeking ways to deliver fun experiences to our guests and locals and are excited to bring this new dining experience to life alongside acclaimed musician John Legend and his LVE wines from Napa Valley and France,” said Anthony Keene, Executive Chef of The London West Hollywood.

    Chef Keene created a special John Legend three-course prix-fixe menu featuring dishes inspired by John’s favorite recipes from his wife Chrissy Teigen’s cookbook, “Cravings.” Starters include BBQ chicken pizza, croquembouche, French onion soup gratin, and short rib ravioli. Main courses include fried chicken, spicy miso pasta with clams, and beef Wellington with a mac and cheese gratin. Dishes are paired with LVE red, white, and sparkling wines.

    There is also an a la carte menu featuring fish with caviar, king crab and grilled wagyu, charred octopus salad, charcuterie board, lobster tortellini with corn and mushrooms, pea and mushroom risotto, branzino with artichokes and fennel, prime rib cap, bone-in New York steak, filet mignon, and a dry-aged porterhouse steak. Dishes can also be paired with LVE Wines and Boisset Collection wines, John Legend’s LVE partner.

    “I’m thrilled to embark on this partnership with The London West Hollywood at Beverly Hills and LVE,” said Jean-Charles Boisset, proprietor of the Boisset Collection. “In 2015, John Legend and I created the first Legend Vineyard Exclusive wines together and now they are all available to enjoy at this iconic location all summer with food pairings inspired by some of John and Chrissy’s recipes.”

    The seasonal rooftop restaurant’s ambiance captures an LVE Wine-inspired setting, complete with beautifully branded glassware and special decor, including a flower wall with neon signage. This summer experience will run through Labor Day Weekend.

    There is NO WAY I can top anything made by a world class Executive Chef, so my best attempt would be caviar. I took the very best HADID Black Diamond Edition Beluga Caviar on triple cream brie cheese and crackers. The Beluga Caviar is firm with a pleasing buttery taste and not a strong fishy taste like the other caviars I’ve tried (the cheap stuff) in the past.

    That sounds wonderful. It’s nice to bring attention to the culinary arts in West Hollywood.
