LGBTQ+ Dialogue with a Deputy is Back On at Dialog Cafe on March 11

LGBTQ+ Dialogue with a Deputy is back on at Dialog Cafe on Saturday, March 11, 2023, from 12 p.m. – 3 p.m., at 8766 Holloway Drive.

“NEW DATE!” reads a social media post by @lasdwesthollywoodstation. “West Hollywood Community please join us on March 11, 2023 for Dialog with a Deputy. A friendly atmosphere and one on one interactions with your local Sheriff Deputies. We can discuss community issues, build relationships and drink some coffee. Message us if you have any questions, see you soon.

The West Hollywood Sheriff’s Station postponed Dialogue with a Deputy event that was scheduled to happen at Dialog Cafe on Saturday, February 25, 2023, due to the forecast of inclement weather. Community members are welcome to participate at the new date and time.

Dialog Cafe hosted the first ever “Dialogue with a Deputy event on July 21, 2022, where they invited West Hollywood sheriff deputies, neighbors, local business owners and West Hollywood elected officials to gather for coffee and conversation with WeHo law enforcement.

The West Hollywood Sheriff stated that there was no agenda at the event geared towards the LGBT community. The two-hour meet-and-greet is simply an opportunity for community members to ask questions, voice concerns, learn about volunteer opportunities and community events, and get to know the deputies and command staff at the West Hollywood Station.

Located at 780 N San Vicente Blvd in West Hollywood, the LASD West Hollywood Station provides law enforcement services for the City of West Hollywood and the unincorporated Universal CityWalk.

Dialog Cafe is a family owned cafe with a close-knit crew serving the West Hollywood community. “We partner with the best to serve the best,” reads the intro on their website. “We serve third wave coffee which ultimately means we care about quality and focus on micro batch roasting. This allows us to showcase a more complex flavor profile from our coffee program. Not only do we locally source our coffee beans, we also partner with family operated farms that have been passed down generation after generation. If it’s not obvious by now, we’re real big on the inclusive family vibes. We like to support small local family owned businesses and showcase their quality produce in our own handcrafted creations.”

Dialog Cafe is located on the corner of Holloway Drive and Palm Avenue, across from the newly open Supreme Store. To learn more, visit: https://dialogcafe.la
