    LASD Seeks Information on Robbery with Alleged Assault Rifle in West Hollywood

    The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department Information Bureau released an advisory statement regarding a robbery that occurred on Tuesday, April 25, 2023, where a suspect allegedly used, what appears to be an assault rifle, to rob two men near the alley behind La Boheme Restaurant. According to the report, a male suspect was assisted by two female accomplices who held handguns.

    On Tuesday, April 25, 2023, at 9:38 p.m., an armed robbery occurred in the City of West Hollywood near the intersection of Santa Monica Blvd and Orlando Avenue.

    A male suspect armed with what appeared to be an assault rifle and two female suspects armed with a handgun approached two men as they were walking in an alley and demanded their property. One of the victims was struck in the face with a handgun by the suspects. A man walking on the sidewalk interrupted the robbery and the suspects demanded his property and he complied.

    I’ve lived here for many years. In all those many years, we never had the crap that’s going on now. It’s very obvious that the failed policies of our city council in the last few years have chipped away at our safety. And what must be stressed is the residents of the city did not want a reduction of sheriffs deputies it was a majority of our city council with their own political agenda that have decided what is best for us in spite of what people wanted for THEIR city.
