    Lalou French Restaurant is Coming to West Hollywood – Now Hiring

    Lalou French restaurant is coming to West Hollywood at 8478 Melrose Avenue. According to their Instagram account, they are “opening soon.” A ZipRecruiter listing shows two hiring events for a full-time barback starting at $19 an hour.

    The new WeHo restaurant is bringing an array of seafood delicacies, vegetable-centric dishes, and desserts inspired by the flavors of Southern France and coastal Europe in an expansive 8,900-square-foot locale formerly home to the once-popular celebrity haunt Ago restaurant. Lalou is emerging under the stewardship of husband-and-wife team Matt and Marissa Hermer from the Boujis Group, known for establishments like Olivetta (also located in West Hollywood) and the Draycott. Eater LA reports that the establishment, situated on Melrose Avenue, will accommodate up to 220 diners and will be managed by Vincent Samarco, formerly of Belle Vie.

    The restaurant’s hiring events for full time barbacks will be on Monday, April 29, and Tuesday, April 30 from 11:30 a.m – 2:30 p.m. Open Interviews are being conducted at Lalous sister restaurant Olivetta – 9010 Melrose Ave, West Hollywood

    Duties & Responsibilities:

    • Ensures all beverage and paper products are appropriately stocked.
    • Ensures that bar area is supplied with all menu items.
    • Properly washes all bar dishes used during assigned shift. Puts coffee cups through de-limer.
    • Consistently keeps bar area clean. Cleans top of bar and polishes stainless steel on a regular basis.  Always maintains department’s safety/sanitation standards.
    • Enters drink orders and settles checks in the POS system in an organized and accurate method.
    • Maintains complete knowledge of locations of all required items (bagels-cafeteria, drink mixers-warehouse).  Retrieves required items as needed.
    • Leaves area clean and stocked before going on break and prior to shift end.
    • Always sorts and separates recyclable and deposit bottles.  Places all recyclable items in proper crates.
    • Consistently maintains an awareness of promotional events and shows.
    • Always follows department training standards. (i.e.: clean-as-you-go, re-check guest, etc.).

    Skills & Requirements:

    • Must have 3 years previous Fine Dining work experience
    • Previous bar experience preferred
    • Must have current RBS certification
    • Must have current Food Handler card
    • Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills

    That’s a good question Natasha because it’s hidden right there in the middle each block there seems to be different La Cienega ones West Hollywood one is Los Angeles county
