Christopher Street West Association Inc, the 501(c)3 nonprofit organization that produces LA PRIDE, announced its partnership with Universal Studio’s Hollywood to present Pride is Universal, an exclusive LGBTQ theme park experience on Friday, June 25, 2021.
The exclusive LGBTQ theme park experience is open for all ages to enjoy with friends and family. It includes an afternoon general admission to the park with an exclusive extended park hours experience for LA PRIDE. Each ticket includes general admission access to all rides and attractions during the day, with additional after hours elements at night, including live DJs, character meet & greets, photo ops, and more pending the easement of current restrictions under State and local guidelines. Musical guests and other surprises to be announced. While event is open to all ages, an ID is required for guests 21 and above for cash bar access.
PRIDE IS UNIVERSAL tickets are priced below general admission, and gets you into the park as early as 4PM, where LA Pride guests can mix in with regular guests. The theme park is accessible during normal hours and then when the park closes to the public, LA PRIDE ticket holders get to stay for the exclusive after-hours experience.

More figures include: Two DJ’s will be spinning tracks throughout the park. Retail stores and select restaurants will remain open. Cash bars will welcome guests 21 and over. Fourteen of favorite Universal Studios theme park characters will be waiting to take distanced photos with guests. All of this, and more, for $28 below general admission prices. CSW announced the two other outdoor in-person events. LA Pride has once again partnered with the Dodgers for the fourth LGBTQ+ Pride Night at Dodgers Stadium. Also added, is a partnership with Cinespia to bring LGBTQ+ Movie Night at the Hollywood Forever Cemetery. It’s all part of the monthlong “Thrive with Pride” June calendar. Both are ticketed events.
