KTLA 5 News to Telecast Inaugural WeHo Pride Parade Special

A WeHo Pride update presentation at a regular West Hollywood City Council on Monday, April 4, 2022, presented by WeHo Staff and JJLA’s Jeff Consoletti, confirmed that KTLA 5 News will telecast a WeHo Pride Parade Special on June 5, 2022. It will part of West Hollywood’s inaugural WeHo Pride Weekend event slated to kick-off Pride Month in June.

“I’m please to say that KTLA is confirmed to be the official West Hollywood Pride Parade podcast,” said Consoletti of WeHo Pride Parade Special. “It will be more of a parade special, but they will be broadcasting live from West Hollywood on Sunday, June 5th. They are putting together their broadcast team. We are working with the event team and public safety on their placement, wanting it to look and feel different than broadcasts that have been potentially in the city in year’s prior, but they’re very excited. They will also help with on-going stories and coverage in the lead-up to the event. Marcus Smith is, I think a West Hollywood resident, and was a big proponent of that. Wendy Birch is my best friend now. Cheers to everyone at KTLA.”
