Junk in the Trunk Rummage Sale Returns to Plummer Park

The City of West Hollywood’s Recreation Services Division is hosting another Junk in the Trunk rummage sale on Saturday, July 13, at Plummer Park, in the south parking lot from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.. The event is known to offer a variety of items for sale, from vintage toys, clothing, books, art, music and more.

The concept is pretty much as the name suggests. Participants may sell items from the trunks of their vehicles or in the space remaining in designated areas. Anyone who has yard sale items to sell is invited to register to participate in the event — no vendor goods are permitted. Items can be displayed from car trunks and hatches, or in a parking space sale area using a tarp or table. Sellers are welcome to use one pop-up tent or a canopy in their assigned space, but those must not be bigger than 10’x10’. Participants usually start setting up at 8 a.m.

The rummage sale means cars are not allowed to enter the lot after 9 a.m. Parking lot sale spaces, which cover two standard parking spots, are available for $15 and are reserved in advance. Space is usually available on a first-come, first-served basis. Registration information for future Junk in the Trunk Evens is available at www.weho.org/recreation.

The City of West Hollywood Recreation Services Division offers a variety of activities, excursions, sport and aquatic programs. For your convenience a wide selection of activities suitable for all ages is offered at Kings Road Park, Plummer Park, West Hollywood Park and Aquatics Center. Summer activities became available to view this past Tuesday, May 8, 2018. People must register to view the activities and sign up for events.
