Jeffrey Sanker’s White Party Palm Springs is now taking place on Halloween night. The event widely considered the largest gay dance music festival in the nation, will become a White Party Halloween Festival. The move puts White Party in direct competition with West Hollywood’s Annual Halloween Carnival taking place on Saturday, October 31, 2020.

Sanker was left with no choice, but to move his 3-day party spectacular as a precautionary measure in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. White Party was moved from the weekend beginning Friday, April 24, to the weekend beginning Friday, October 30, through Monday November 2nd. The theme for this year’s actual White Party event is Lords of the Galaxy to celebrate the new decade.

“Due to the escalation of COVID-19, White Party Palm Springs will reschedule,” reads a statement by Jeffrey Sanker. “We are saddened by the situation with COVID-19 and urge everyone to stay safe and to follow the guidelines provided by local health and city officials. We never want to disappoint our attendees, but your safety, and the safety of our staff and local community is something we take very seriously. White Party Palm Springs will now take place on October 30 through November 2, 2020. Unfortunately, tickets purchased are NON-REFUNDABLE but are transferable to the new dates, another guest that would like to attend or to White Party 2021. Thank you for all your understanding and support– Jeffrey Sanker”

Assuming gays are in the mood, or can afford to party on Halloween night after this pandemic is behind, the hard choice will come between celebrating Halloween in West Hollywood at the City’s infamous Halloween Carnaval–a one-mile stretch of Santa Monica Boulevard between Doheny Drive and La Cienega Boulevard. The event believed to be one of the most unique Halloween gatherings in the world is known for its live stage performances, block by block parties and of course, some over the top costumes like only West Hollywood can deliver.

Or the choice will be the sunny desert oasis of Palm Springs for a unique experience at the actual White Party. White party weekend is already known for conjuring up some creative costumes throughout its differently themed nights. This year’s White Party has already locked a special performance by singer, songwriter, actor, director, choreographer and YouTuber, Todrick Hall.  The Nails, Hair, Hips, Heels singer was announced for the April dates, and so far that hasn’t changed.

Another headliner announced for that weekend is singing sensation Meghan Trainor, who is slated to perform at the T-Dance on Sunday night.

Jeffrey Sanker is starting jumping into the new decade with cash/credit card bars all weekend long, which means no more drink tickets, no waiting in line for tickets, making easier for everyone and no more going home with unused drink tickets. This year’s WP 2020 VIP passes come with complimentary clothes check at three of the night parties at Palm Springs Air Museum. There will also be a fresh bar on VIP Decks at WP Main Event and TDance.

The three-day music festival attracts over 30,000 people of the LGBTQ+ community. Jeffrey Sanker has been cultivating this LGBTQ+ weekend long festival for the last 31 years. Over the years, Sanker has used the White Party stage to help popularize the careers of powerhouses like Lady Gaga and Ariana Grande. Previous performers include Jennifer Lopez, Ke$ha, Mary J. Blige, Kylie Minogue and more!
