Jason Momoa Draws Huge Crowd at Pavilions West Hollywood for Meili Vodka

Fans of actor Jason Momoa waited long hours to meet the Aquaman star at Pavilions West Hollywood supermarket Wednesday afternoon. Momoa was in WeHo to promote his Meili Vodka with cofounder, Blaine Halvorson. They had a meet-and-greet where fans had a chance to purchase an autographed bottle of Meili and a photo op with both men.

The event in West Hollywood was supposed to run from 1pm – 3pm, but Momoa stayed an extra half-hour to make sure all the fans had a chance to purchase a signed bottle of Meili. Some fans showed up as early as 6am and stood in a line that stretched across the parking lot.

“I’m a huge fan of Jason Momoa,” Danielle Martinez told WEHO TIMES. “I found his Instagram live feed yesterday when he was in La Jolla and San Diego, so unfortunately, I missed that, and then this morning they posted that he was going to be in West Hollywood, so I headed over here. I live in Hollywood. But I worked in Hawthorne.”

Danielle waited for an hour and ten minutes. “We were able to go inside and take a picture with him,” she said. “They were very organized. They had you purchase the vodka and then you showed them your receipt, they took your phone, and they took a picture for you.”

Danielle said meeting her crush was everything she expected, even though her husband was less than thrilled. “Oh, he was a nice guy,” she said after meeting Momoa. “Very good looking. very muscular and in shape. I was very happy to meet him finally. My next wish would be to meet the rock.”

West Hollywood resident, Anderson Cordeiro, took the day off to meet the action movie star. “It was a great experience,” he said. “Seeing him in movies and in TV and then getting to meet him was fantastic. I happened to be shopping and he was there taking pictures with people. I live like 10 minutes away, so I called work and I said, ‘hey, can I take the day off?’

Fans waited outside Pavilions after the meet-and-greet hoping to see the star one last time, but Momoa snuck out through the back. The disappointed crowd were told that Momoa had left the building.

No better place to have a Vodka opening than Weho Pavillions where shoppers purchase alcohol more than food
He should have invited Angeline fo a small fee of course.

I wonder why the semi-disguise. I mean sunglasses & hat? I’d think people had wanted to have their pictures taken with an identifiable star/entertainer, not with an “Is that really him” person.

I that why could not find any parking at pavilions this afternoon? I’m not looking his yellow shirt with the horizontal stripes and that hat makes him look round. The fans should have gotten the vodka for free after waiting for that long.
