Is R&B Singer Brandy the WeHo Pride Headliner for Friday Night?

Is R&B singer Brandy this year’s Friday night headliner at WeHo Pride? Rumors are circulating on X that Brandy will be replacing Janelle Monáe as one of the headliners of this WeHo Pride OUTLOUD music festival. According to rumors, Brandy was spotted with signed documents in West Hollywood City Hall (sound far fetched, we know).

It’s very unlikely that Janelle will bow out and be replaced by Brandy, but it’s possible Brandy could be the unannounced headliner for Friday night. Or it’s possible she was seen leaving West Hollywood City Hall after paying a parking violation, there’s no connection to WeHo Pride, and we’ll have to wait to see what WeHo Pride has in store for Friday night.

If Brandy ends up performing on Friday night, it would not be her first Pride in WeHo. She performed on Saturday night for LA Pride in WeHo in 2017 (no photos on the WeHo City Flickr page which was way disappointing).

JJLA announced Australian pop singing sensation Kylie Minogue will be headlining this year’s WeHo Pride OUTLOUD music festival, along with Janelle Monáe, and Diplo. WeHo Pride is scheduled to take place on the weekend of June 1-2, 2024 with a Friday Night free ticketed event on May 31. The headliner for Friday Night has not yet been announced according to sources.

Minogue is the highest-selling female Australian artist of all time, having sold over 80 million records worldwide. She has been recognised for reinventing herself in music as well as fashion, and is referred to by the European press as the “Princess of Pop” and a style icon. Her accolades include two Grammy Awards, four Brit Awards and eighteen ARIA Music Awards.

In addition to Kylie, Janelle Monáe, and Diplo, OUTLOUD has also announced Doechii, Ashnikko, Noah Cyrys, Trixie Mattel, Keke Palmer, Channel, tres, Yaeji, Big Freedia, Sophie Ellis-Bextor, VINCINT, and many more will be taking the stage for WeHo Pride weekend to kickoff pride month.
